Ever since Frozen was released in 2013; Elsa and Anna tribute acts have been in high demand to sing the hit song from the movie.

However, not every Frozen tribute act booking turns out to be the fairytale experience you wanted for your child’s party, and instead can turn a magical day into a nightmare.

So how can you make sure that you’re booking the real deal for your child’s party? And not be left disappointed.

We’ve put together some top tips on how to verify what you are booking is going to make the party extra special.

1. Read their reviews

It might be a given, but ask them to point towards any testimonials or reviews they may have either on their website, Facebook page, or Google My Business listing.

As well as positive reviews, be on the lookout for negative reviews online on other platforms.

It is worth understanding however that people are more likely to leave a negative review than they are a positive review, so you should always take testimonials on balance.

2. What do they offer as part of their appearance?

As well as looking the part and being able to sing the songs, it’s almost important that your Elsa and/or Anna are able to entertain and provide the full experience to the children.

Having someone turn up and “just get on with it” and singing the song won’t make for a special day, as to a child having a Disney princess at their party is a magical occasion.

Find out if the tribute act your speaking too:

  • Offers other Disney princess tribute performances
  • Allows for meet and greet sessions, photos etc
  • Does balloon modelling or face-painting
  • Offers a princess tea party

This way you will be able to better gauge how they’ll be around a room full of children, and if they’ll comfortably make the day extra special.

3. Watch (and listen) to them singing Let It Go

A key part of any Frozen tribute act is the singing of the Let It Go song.

Any good Else tribute acts will have the song nailed down to a T, and for marketing purposes may have recorded them singing it on YouTube or Vimeo.

Ask for these videos instead of recordings – the reason being on a video it’s pretty hard to overlay someone else’s singing and audio onto your performance (unless they’re a professional video editor) without it screaming fake.

This is the best way to verify that the Else you are booking can sing the song.
